For our wedding, we suggest a formal dress code, black tie optional. We recommend men wear a suit and tie, while women are welcome in an evening gown or cocktail dress. We don’t have a specific color palette in mind, but we love earth tones and summery pastels – so feel free to choose an outfit that makes you feel comfortable and elegant. Weather and Venue July will likely be warm, but apart from the welcome reception and photos, most of the time will be spent indoors. Thanks to the museum’s thick walls, the indoor temperature will be pleasant and room-like, so you can consider this when choosing your attire.
If you would like to bring a plus one to our wedding, there’s no problem at all; just please let us know in advance so we can account for them in our planning.
We leave the decision about children’s attendance entirely up to the parents. Weddings can be long and sometimes exhausting for little ones, but we’re making an effort to ensure that our guests with children also have an enjoyable experience. For example, we are planning garden games, coloring activities, and other entertaining programs to help keep the kids happy and engaged. However, it’s worth mentioning that due to the high ceilings of the venue, the music and lighting may be a bit overwhelming, especially for babies. Keeping this in mind, we trust parents to decide whether they feel the environment is suitable for their children.
Yes, we are committed to making our wedding bilingual! We will translate and present everything in both Hungarian and English during the events so that everyone feels included. However, there are certain parts, such as the vows, that we feel might not come across as naturally in English. We anticipate being quite emotional and may find it challenging to express our feelings in two different languages. To ensure that our English-speaking guests can still follow along, we will provide printed translations or upload a link to the translated text. This way, everyone can understand and share the special moments!
We are so grateful for your presence on our special day! Instead of traditional gifts, we kindly ask for cash contributions to help us build our future together. You can present your contributions during the bridal dance, a cherished Hungarian tradition. Your support means the world to us as we embark on this exciting new chapter.
Please let us know at the link below if you can attend our wedding, and if you have allergies or any other requests before 1st of May. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSd5q9Fn_Kdx4xDFaT3WDVwKbdpKfASdRVlzHMg0KeL-Y3Dy2g/viewform?usp=sf_link
