Our love story started back in 2013 at Elmhurst College. We were both freshman on campus, meeting a ton of new people. A couple of days before homecoming tailgate we met through mutual friends on the Elmhurst Wrestling team. We continued to get to know each other until December 8th, when we officially started dating! Our time at Elmhurst College flew by! We went to many Phi Mu sorority events, tailgates, and more! Alex graduated in May 2017, and Hanna graduated in May 2018. Out of college, Hanna got a teaching job and Alex started in the assessments field. On December 1st, 2018 we moved in together into our first apartment in Geneva, IL. Shortly after on January 13th 2019, we bought our first fur baby, Nala. 2020 was a big year for us! Alex ran to be the assessor of Geneva Township, and won. Woo-hoo!! We also purchased our first home in Geneva at the end of December. Almost 8 years together, while on vacation in Florida Alex popped the question and we got engaged on July 9th, 2021!! We cannot wait for this exciting new chapter to begin and for our forever to continue!
