Once upon a time, in the halls of Christ Lutheran School, destiny quietly began weaving the threads of Hanna and Carl's love story. In 6th grade, Carl and his brother arrived as newcomers and Hanna couldn't help but notice Carl who was wearing his favorite red polo. Carl and Hanna's eyes met, smiles were exchanged, and the stage was set for something truly special. Months passed, and as courage grew in Hanna's heart, she took a chance that would change the course of their lives forever. She penned a note destined for Carl's cubby, on it read: "Do you like me? Check the box 'yes' or 'no'". With much excitement Carl checked the box marked 'yes'. High school led them down separate paths, but college brought occasional reunions, reaffirming their bond. As they ventured into the post-grad life, God's hand brought them back together, and in May 2020, they made their commitment official once more.

On March 11, 2023 Hanna and Carl began their familiar morning beach walk. They had made a habit to rise early and go for a walk along the beach, which often led to a breakfast date at the Penguin Cafe. As they strolled along the shore that morning, laughter filled the air and they indulged in the simple joys of drawing in the sand and relishing in the beauty of their shared moments. Unbeknownst to Hanna, this day would forever etch itself into the pages of their love story. A sudden change in Carl's demeanor caught Hanna's attention. His hands trembled and his gaze turned serious. In that moment, Carl began to express the depth of his love for Hanna, mirroring the innocence of their past. Just as Hanna had asked Carl if he liked her in 6th grade, Carl now passed her a note. On a slip of paper were the words: "Will you marry me? Check the box 'yes' or 'no'". With much excitement, Hanna checked the box marked 'yes', and in that moment they had come full circle. Hanna and Carl are so excited to celebrate with their loved ones at Ecomama Farms in May!
