FAQs

If you have any additional questions, let us know (carlygrantmerger@gmail.com)! Others might have the same question and we can add it to the site.
Question

When should we plan to be on the Big Island?

Answer

The wedding is on September 13th. We have optional events scheduled Wednesday, September 11th and Sunday, September 15th. Outside of these days, you get to decide how much sun and beach you need.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

RSVPs are due by May 13th.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are not registered anywhere. We consider you joining us as the best gift of all! If you cannot attend, we understand.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is parking! We recommend carpooling or planning on car service (limited on the island) due to the open bar, but there is a parking lot at the venue for those who choose to drive

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Unfortunately, we cannot make any adjustments to catering at this time. We worked hard to have a menu that has gluten free and dairy free options.

Question

Where can we find more information on the Big Island?

Answer

A close friend and resident of the island recommends this guide book (Hawaii The Big Island Revealed by Andrew Doughtery, make sure to get the September 28, 2022 for Covid-era information) to best explore what the island has to offer. Another option would be to download the "Big Island Guide" or the "Big Island Drive Tour" apps to your phone.
