Ski Day

1970s-inspired ski day. Dress in vintage ski wear, retro colors, classic sweaters, headbands, one-piece suits, or any throwback ski style from the era. Whether you’re skiing or simply enjoying the day, your outfit will help set the tone and make the celebration feel complete. It’s a day on the mountain—so please plan for comfort, warmth, and a clear nod to classic ski culture. Let's Fire it Up!
Transportation & Schedule 1:00 PM Buses will depart from Hotel Champlain to Cochran’s Ski Area. Skis are welcome on board—please try to keep them clean for the ride home. 1:30–2:00 PM Vail Friends will be grilling upon arrival to hold everyone over until pizza is served at 4:00 PM. 2:00 PM Welcome drinks 2:30 PM Champagne toasts and speeches 2:30–4:00 PM Go ski. Have fun!! 4:00 PM Après toast and break 4:00–5:30 PM Night skiing 5:30 PM Time to groove inside 💃🕺 If you’re driving yourself, cars may be left overnight in the Cochran’s parking lot. You’re also welcome to ski earlier in the day—we’ll have both afternoon and night skiing, so please bring layers, extra clothes, and shoes for post-pizza dancing.
