Possibly an even better meet-cute than the bride and groom's, Rhena and Hannah met one fateful evening at The Norva when Rhena photobombed a picture. Long story short, they ended up traveling the world together and she is now HBIC of the wedding party as Matron of Honor. Her father, Michael Hicks, has also earned "second dad" status. A total coup.
Austin Pierce

Hannah's younger brother and member of the Monday Club (only after Grandma Betty put her foot down), Austin, may be half a world away doing big things in the Air Force, but Hannah will always remember him as her carefree swing dance partner and fellow lover of Beau flibbins. She is incredibly grateful to have him as a brother and bridesman on her wedding day.
Madison Pons

Madison has been like a sister to Hannah for her entire life. Hannah admires Madison's wanderlust and would be remiss if she didn't think she'd see her on the pages of National Geographic one day, saving the elephants one at a time. G nite!
Meredith Pons

Meredith, a spitfire since birth, is Hannah's other unofficial sis. Hannah would like to extend a grateful thank you to her for fostering her interest in Justin Bieber and always providing the astrological insight to any situation. It's been a true privilege seeing her grow up. G nite!
Jake Medvick

Jake has been a pillar of friendship in Hannah's life since 7th grade violin camp (shoutout JMU Spring String Thing!). Her first memory of Jake was when he offered her his flannel off his own back because she complained about being slightly cold. Cue an almost two-decade long friendship filled with phone calls, impromptu AMF visits, and jumps in bodies of water entirely too shallow. This man would literally give you the shirt off his back and Hannah couldn't be more honored that he is standing with her on her wedding day.
Rabbi Derek Butler

The first person to let Hannah know she had RBF and looked "mean as hell" in high school, Derek has been a friend who is always down to laugh, joke, and keep it 100% real. Leave it to Derek to always be the voice of reason when Hannah is nearing the edge of a cliff in the tiniest of inconvenient circumstances. He is a such a positive presence in Hannah's life and she is truly blessed to have him as a friend and bridesman on her wedding day.
Sean Weir
Best Man
While Sean is currently frolicking in the San Diego sun, Sean and Nate met while Sean was Mess Deck Master at Arms on the San Antonio in Norfolk. Sean became a professional mentor to Nate, and Nate became a beer mentor to Sean.
Zach Hanks
Groomsman
Zach is the middle child, and acts like it. With a mathematics degree from UIC, and a great affinity for terrible puns, Zach can be described as introspective and logical. Live long and prosper.
Ryan Hanks
Groomsman
Youngest of the Hanks boys, Ryan is currently living in Alaska as an Army Officer. If there's anyone this nation should entrust to fight the cold, it's this guy. Keep fighting the good fight, Ryan. If you need me, I'll be enjoying 50 degree winters in Virginia.

Josh and Nate met on June 13th, 2016. For the next year, there was a 95% probability that Josh and Nate were occupying the same dreary Monterey cinderblock rooms at the same time for over a year.
