I met Luke on May 20, 2023, as one of four speakers at a women’s conference held at his church. I first noticed him in the parking lot—we pulled up at the same time, and when he stepped out of his car, our eyes met. People often say “time stood still,” but for me, time kept moving because I was so nervous about speaking… especially with such a cute guy there. During the conference, our eyes continued to find each other, and that’s when time truly did stand still. I wanted to know more about him—his name, his age, his ambitions. After the conference, he approached my sister, and when I made my way over, we started talking. A week later, Luke asked me out on a date, and on July 22, 2023, we officially became a couple. Over the next two beautiful years, we built a relationship full of love, laughter, and growth. On June 14, 2025, he proposed to me in the middle of our favorite movie theater—the perfect place for the next chapter of our love story to begin.
