Where are the Ceremony and Reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both be held on property at Folino Estate Winery which is a beautiful vineyard 15 miles just west of Allentown. We have shared meals with friends and family here over the years and are enamored by the natural beauty of the property, especially at Christmas time. We could not imagine a more beautiful place to say "I Do."

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please reply by November 15th right here on the website. From there you will select a meal and note any dietary modifications.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We invite all guests to arrive for a wine tasting at 2:30 PM prior to ceremony seating. The ceremony will start promptly at 3:00 PM.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! Folino Estate wines from the vineyard will be front and center, along with a traditional open bar with cocktails, mocktails, and beer

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Formal- Black Tie Optional Suggested: Tuxedos or dark suit and tie for men and floor length dress, cocktail dress, or dressy jumpsuit for ladies Weather permitting, we will be celebrating our ceremony outdoors. We will have blankets in the seating areas, but please plan to wear a coat and leave it with the attendant after the ceremony.

Invitations will directly list by name any guests whom we have specifically reserved a seat for.

Are kids welcome?

We have chosen to share our wedding day with our adult family and friends only. Thank you for planning ahead so you can enjoy a kids-free night out!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

A block of guest rooms is available at Hyatt Place Hotel in Allentown, PA. See the travel link for the group code and direct reservation details. There are other local airbnb options and hotels though Hyatt Place will be preferred location as this is where the wedding shuttle will be picking up and dropping off!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the venue?

Answer

Shuttle buses are reserved to chauffeur wedding guests from Hyatt Place out to Folino Estate then back to Hyatt Place at the end of the night. There is one pickup at 1:45 PM and one drop off at 9:30 PM. Uber and Lyft are available in the surrounding area as well. Please plan to stay safe by taking one of our shuttles or an uber/lyft ride if you plan to imbibe a few cocktails at the reception.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

There is ample free parking at the winery for guests who will be driving themselves.

Should we come into town Friday night?

Answer

Yes! The Werners are hosting a Welcome Party Friday evening at McCarthy's Redstag Pub in Bethlehem. We would love to spend this time mingling with our out of town friends and family. Added bonus is you will already be comfortably checked into your hotel Friday and not rushing Saturday afternoon to get on the shuttle. Please note the wedding festivities do begin early Saturday afternoon ahead of typical hotel check-in time.

Where to dine Friday night?

Answer

Dinner reservations are strongly suggested in advance for Friday evening. This is a busy holiday weekend downtown in the Christmas City. We suggest Edge, Apollo Grille, Twisted Olive, or Melting Pot for more upscale dining. For more casual eats we like Brew Works, Mama Nina's, or McCarthy's Red Stag Pub. There are public parking garages downtown that are very walkable to each of these restaurants on Main St and McCarthy's for the welcome party. Plan to allot an extra 20 minutes for parking before your reservations due to holiday foot traffic on Main St.
