Lisa is Karen's older and most likely wiser sister. She has always been there to support Karen even as she moved halfway across the country. The two enjoy many activities together, including hiking, running, swapping beer and quoting The Office whenever possible.

Cousin Maria was born the day before Karen's 5th birthday, which turned out to be the best birthday present she could have asked for. Besides celebrating countless birthdays together, running on the same cross country team and going to the same college, they will also be celebrating their weddings together in 2022!
Adrian Richardson

Born and raised in Portland, OR, Hank and Adrian were in the same 6th grade class but didn't become good friends until high school. Adrian introduced Hank to road cycling, and Hank returned the favor introducing Adrian to road bike racing. The two have continued to be close friends after both making their way to Colorado.
Colin Gallagher
Groomsman
Hank and Colin quickly became close friends while living together in San Francisco, CA. The two were roommates in four different houses and worked together as bartenders. They have remained close following Hank's move to Colorado.
Thomas Olson

Thomas was the director of Hank's sports residency program in Vail, CO. After his residency, the two became good friends backcountry skiing and spring touring together. Karen and Thomas became close during their time treating as physical therapists together. The three regularly meet up for dinner, drinks, skiing and bike rides.
Megan and Larissa

Karen met Megan and Larissa at the College of Saint Benedict. Larissa and Karen were stand partners in orchestra, and Megan and Karen ran Twin Cities marathon together. Karen brought the trio together as roommates in Minneapolis, where they spent many hours cooking, baking, visiting breweries and watching Downton Abbey.
Violet and Lucy

Violet and Lucy are Karen's nieces. They have grown up around Hank and Karen spending a number of vacations and trips together. Violet continues to challenge the two in games of Memory, and Lucy never stops making them laugh with her spontaneous singing and dancing.
Montie
Best Boy
Karen adopted Montie in 2012 and he has been her best friend ever since. Montie adopted Hank in 2015 after Karen moved to Colorado. The three have been inseparable ever since, spending hours trail running, traveling and cuddling on the couch.
