FAQs

Question

Where to Fly Into

Answer

The best airport to fly into is the Key West airport. You can also fly into the Fort Lauderdale or Miami airport, but the drive while magical is roughly three hours.

Question

How to Get Around Key West

Answer

You can choose to rent out a bike, hop in a golf cart, or grab a quick Uber, getting around the island is easy and part of the fun. Most restaurants, shops, attractions, and our wedding venue at Fort Zachary Taylor Historic State Park are just a short ride away. We encourage everyone to relax, explore, and enjoy island time while celebrating with us!

Question

How to Get to Our Wedding

Answer

Due to venue restrictions and limited parking, guests will not be able to drive themselves to the ceremony, unless they are using an uber. To help make transportation easy and stress-free, we will be using a carpool transportation system to and from our wedding at Fort Zachary Taylor. 🚂 Carpool pick-up points will be Ella’s Cottages and Southernmost Point Resort and Guesthouses. Both will be leaving promptly at 5:30 P.M. and it is advised to show up 15-20 minutes early.

Question

When Do I RSVP?

Answer

To help us finalize our wedding plans, please submit your RSVP through our website. We kindly request all responses by February 7, 2027.

Question

What is the Weather Like in April?

Answer

April is one of the most beautiful times of year in Key West! Average daytime temperatures are in the low 80s, while evenings are typically in the low 70s. We recommend lightweight, breathable clothing, sunscreen, and comfortable shoes for exploring the island. While rain is uncommon, a brief tropical shower is always possible, so packing a light rain jacket is never a bad idea. Most importantly, don't forget your sunglasses and beach friendly footwear —we'll provide the rest!

Question

Who Do I Contact On the Day of If I Have a Question?

Answer

Due to the bride and groom being busy on the wedding day we are having a day of contact for our guests to reach out to if they have any questions! We are going to update this as we get closer to the date of the wedding to provide the contact information.

Question

Will I Be Able to Take Photos During the Ceremony?

Answer

The greatest gift you can give us is your presence. We kindly ask that you put away your phones/ cameras and join us fully in the moment as we celebrate our wedding day. We have an amazing photographer capturing the memories, so there’s no need to worry about taking photos. We can't wait to celebrate, laugh, dance, and make memories with all of you!
