Emily Halle

Matron of Honor

Emily and Haniee met at church and bonded over their love of studying the Word and going to Simeon Trust conferences together. One study principle called "Top and Tail" gave them an idea. Since Emily is a dentist and Haniee is a proctologist, they aspire to open a practice someday named “Top and Tail"- where you can get your dental cleaning and colonoscopy in one trip! Emily is married to Jake, who serves as an Elder at New Covenant Baptist Church, where they all walked together for a sweet season before Haniee moved to Baltimore. The Lord used Jake and Emily to bring Jeremy and Haniee together in an unexpected way (have a read of Our Story!)- just faithfully doing what they do: hosting people in their homes with their four beautiful kids- Gabriel, Isaiah, Samuel, and Abigail. Through times of discerning God’s will and obeying, Emily and Jake were right there reminding them of the truth of Scripture, praying with and for them.

Nate Stutzman

Best Man

Nate and Jeremy met in 8th grade and later attended the same high school and college. They played together on numerous sports teams, performed at coffee houses together, and shared a few near-death adventures. Their greatest bonding time was the three years of driving one another crazy as college roommates, during which time Nate would keep Jeremy up late into the night discussing ALL the mysteries of life. In addition to masters degrees in multicultural education and communication, Nate has a doctorate in strategic leadership and currently teaches business and HR at a local college. He is founder and executive pastor of The Dwelling Place church and currently owns and operates True Haven Real Estate as a broker, investor and agent. He is married to his college sweetheart, Marianne – they have three amazing children – Noah (15), Maliha (13), and Leeland (10). He is an avid strategy board game player, enjoys market investing, and loves coaching his kids’ sports teams.

Jerlyn Conley

Bridesmaid

Jerlyn and Haniee became inseparable after a rough start to their friendship that began at church. They encouraged each other to grow in their shared interests- serving on the worship team, crafting, taking Biblical counseling courses, hosting worship nights, trying beauty routines, analyzing people and events- all over good food! It always seems to work out that when one is having a meltdown, the other takes on the voice of reason. Their friendship exemplifies how Christ unites people of all backgrounds and personalities, and that unity in His Church is based on His love, not on compatibility or perfection. Jerlyn was able to share her unique experience of losing Tim, her sweet husband of 9 years, sharing with Haniee what the Lord has been teaching her through her life, love, and loss. Walking with her throughout her relationship with Jeremy, she at times heard her grievances, at times corrected, always with lots of wisdom and prayer.

Gene Good

Groomsman

Gene and Jeremy met in kindergarten and were classmates through the 9th grade. Whether in math class, on the soccer field, at chess club, or in their devotion to Christ, Gene and Jeremy always pushed one another to be the best they could be. Jeremy recalls how Gene overtook him in middle school to become the fastest kid in the class and never looked back. Gene likes to remind Jeremy that in addition to losing to him that day, Jeremy also lost to a girl, having to settle for third place. Losing to Gene – humbling; losing to a girl – humiliating; realizing that girls can do things better than boys and learning to lose with grace – priceless. Gene earned his CPA and JD at the University of Florida. He is CEO at DoctorsManagement, LLC, a healthcare consulting firm. Gene and his wife of 13 years, Tiffany, live in Gainesville, Florida and have three beautiful children, Avery (10), Camden (8), and Landon (5).

Harim Yoo

Bridesmaid

As the bride's favorite cousin (don't let her brother Soorim tell you otherwise), Harim is thrilled to be part of this new chapter in Haniee's life. The physical distances between them never kept them from sharing unforgettable memories, like jumping into creeks running away from a snake that their dads caught, splashing around in a Huggies inflatable pool in the bathroom, and making snow angels in below-zero weather. Even from a distance, Harim has walked with Haniee through seasons of childhood, adolescence, young adulthood...and each time, they pick up right where they left off. What a season of happiness to be cherished- and she is so honored to be on this journey with Haniee.

Shane Martin

Groomsman

Shane met Jeremy at Eastern University, where they both majored in missions and anthropology. They soon discovered they had a lot in common, including their home town. Their friendship continued to grow after college when Jeremy invited Shane to join him at Harper Tree Service. One broken arm, one fall from a tree, and innumerable near-death events later, the two concluded they'd prefer to be on the other end of the healthcare services they'd availed themselves of while working at the tree service, and decided to pursue careers in healthcare. Starting as nursing assistants at Lancaster General Hospital, Shane ultimately traded in his climbing ropes for a stethoscope, and Jeremy his saw for a scalpel. Shane has been a nurse at Lancaster General for 14 years, the last seven in the medical ICU. In August, 2023 he married Chilly Corion; they live in Lancaster city with their beloved dog, Rogie, and cat, Hyper. Jeremy was a groomsman in their wedding and Haniee was his guest. Jeremy and Shane were a support system for each other for many years as they navigated the challenges of bachelor life for far longer than Mennonite boys from Lancaster typically experience.
