We are not typically into art museums, but we loved this one. It houses some really incredible sculptures, and is a great way to spend an afternoon. You do need to buy tickets ahead of time, as they often sell out.
A great place to walk off some pasta and gelato in order to make room for pizza and gelato. The Villa Borghese is the largest public park in Rome, and has lots of things to see and do. If you really want to be active, you can rent bikes or a rowboat, or you can take a leisurely stroll and watch the sunset over the city from the Terrazza del Pincio.
One of our favorite places to eat the traditional Roman pastas: amatriciana, cacio e pepe, and carbonara. The lamb (featured in the photo) is phenomenal as well. Expect a line for lunch or make a reservation for dinner!
