His Story Andrew is driving home one night, and late into the night, receives a text from a friend asking if he was open to date. Shocked at the suddenness and randomness of the question, he hesitantly answers "yes." She says, "Great! I know someone you might be interested in. Here's her picture and her number!" He takes a look at the picture, then shoots her a text to meet up for coffee one week before he leaves for a mission trip to London. They meet at a Starbucks in Brea, CA back in the heat of July 2017, and it kicked off from there. The one thing she appreciates about that time is that he "didn't just beat around the bush trying to play hard to get but was straight to the point and asked to meet in person first." Her Story Caroline and Sally were scrolling through instagram while planning their EuroTrip. Sally said, " Hey. He's single and nice!". Caroline thought it might be a good idea to retire from the nunnery and said, "Sure." He shot her a text to grab coffee. They met and talked for hours. Caroline walked away thinking, "Wow, he talks a lot but I wasn't annoyed at all." Must have been true love or something.

His Story To make a long story short, he did it. Her Story Caroline was dressed casually to grab dinner with Andrew & friends. Andrew suggested Target and a quick walk in the park before dinner. They went to Target and on the way to their second Target he suggested to take a walk first because it might get dark. She panicked because she really wanted to go to Target first. But she complied and they embarked on their stroll in the park before stuffing their faces at Cheesecake Factory (or so she thought). She wanted to explore a new area but he kept trying to take her to the lake. He started talking about their relationship and she really just thought, "When are we going to Target? Why is he reminiscing so hard right now?" Then things got serious and he ended up getting down on one knee and tried to put a ring on her right hand. Our wonderful friend,Susan, hid in bushes to take photos of this special moment. She still thought they were going to Cheesecake Factory but Andrew drove them to Sonia's house for a surprise party. They had tacos and celebrated with their homies.
