Hannah and Lincoln met in the summer of 2016. Hannah begrudgingly went salsa dancing after she was convinced by sister. Likewise, on the same warm summer night, Lincoln's mom told him he needed to get out of the house, so he went salsa dancing. These two reluctant salsa dancers just happened to go to the same venue. From across the room, Hannah's sister saw Lincoln and thought that perhaps Hannah might be interested. She was right and not very long afterwards Lincoln stole Hannah away for a dance. A few dates later, they made it official. It didn't take long for Hannah to know that she had met the man she wanted to marry. Living across the country from one another hasn't been easy, but their commitment to one another, their relationship, unconditional love for each other, and many plane tickets have made it possible. They continue to grow in love and understanding and look forward to a lifetime together.

In the spring of 2019, Lincoln began asking Hannah to send him pictures of them throughout their almost three years together. Just two weeks after Hannah's graduation on May 28th, 2019, Lincoln asked THE question. The pictures he had been asking for were for a video to showcase their years as a couple. At the end of the thoughtfully curated photos read, "Will you marry me?". In her shock, Hannah looked at Lincoln to see him on his knee with a ring. Without hesitation, Hannah said "yes."
