As with any modern fairytale romance, Sarah and Scott met through a dating app. The conversation during their first date was so engaging that time flew by, and before they knew it, the restaurant was closing. They quickly realized they were meant to be, and have since lived happily ever after.

Scott tricked Sarah into getting dressed up for his "big company Christmas party." Sarah got flustered because she "didn't have anything nice to wear for a holiday party, and why didn't you tell me about this earlier?!" As Sarah was putting the finishing touches on her outfit (getting frazzled because she didn't have the right shoes to go with her dress), Scott put his plan into action. He placed a new Christmas collar on their dog Rosie and sent her on a mission to cheer up Sarah. He then asked Sarah to read Rosie's new name tag which had the text, "Will you marry me?" She looked up at Scott as he went down on one knee. She said yes, of course! Scott never intended to take Sarah to the Christmas party, rather he planned a fancy dinner to celebrate instead.
