Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If your guests' name is listed on your invitation and when you RSVP, then yes of course! Otherwise, we are keeping the wedding to an intimate event. We have maxed out capacity of our venue with invites to close family, friends and loved ones. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are kids welcome to the wedding?

Answer

We love your little ones, but we kindly request that our wedding be an adults-only celebration with guests 21 and over unless specifically addressed on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive no more than 30 minutes before the ceremony begins. The ceremony will begin at 6:30 pm with the reception to follow!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There are 100 parking spots on the premises behind the building, free for guests to access. The front gate will be closed when the ceremony begins at 6:30 and you will be directed to enter through the back entrance on Whales Street.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is spring cocktail attire. We encourage guests to dress stylishly and semi-formally. For men, a suit with dress shoes is appropriate (a tie is optional). For women, a cocktail dress, mini or midi-length dress, or chic evening outfit is perfect!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Our venue is accommodating of food allergies and intolerances with special requests being made in these cases!

What are the directions to Southern Oaks?

Answer

From the West / New Orleans: Take I-10 East towards Slidell Proceed over the High Rise Bridge Exit at Crowder Boulevard (Exit 242), the third exit after the bridge Take a left on Crowder Boulevard, toward Lake Pontchartrain At the end of Crowder, take a left on Hayne Boulevard Southern Oaks will be on the left side in about 1/3 mile From the East / Slidell: Take I-10 West towards New Orleans Pass Paris Road, Bullard Road, and Read Boulevard exits Take the Crowder Boulevard Exit (Exit 242) Turn right onto Crowder Boulevard, toward Lake Pontchartrain At the end of Crowder, take a left on Hayne Boulevard Southern Oaks will be on the left side in about 1/3 mile
