The Bride’s cousin Brooke Hokes (bridesmaid) wanted to go to the Groom’s 21st birthday party, but did not want to go alone, so she asked the Bride to tag along. The Bride and Groom briefly met at the beginning of the party and did not say one word to each other the remainder of the night. Hannah and Brooke continued to hang out with each other throughout the summer and bumped into Trevor while he was working at an Indians game they were attending. Brooke continued to play matchmaker until Hannah and Trevor went on their first few dates to Trevor’s baseball games and eventually to a nice dinner in Chagrin Falls. The rest is History!
Trevor had been trying to plan the perfect proposal at the Trout Club, the Bride’s family’s favorite place and where her parents had gotten engaged. But, unknowingly.. every time he asked Hannah to help schedule a family dinner, she wanted to do something else that day. Later in the week, she found out her brother (Cody) was coming to town so FINALLY wanted to plan a family dinner. But, the restaurant was booked! So, they ended up going to a new restaurant and Trevor decided to wait for another chance. The weekend passed and on Monday the Bride was beginning to pack for her best friend’s (Madison Shick/Matron of Honor) bachelorette trip after Trevor and Hannah had gotten home from a nice dinner date. Trevor had decided he was going to prune the apple trees while Hannah was packing her car for her trip, and called her over for some help deciding which branches to shop off. Hannah, thinking Trevor will help her load the car if she quickly cuts the branches from the tree, runs over to help. She grabbed the trimmers and is trimming away for quite some time while Trevor sets up his phone camera in the background. She’s still trimming, and Trevor finally decides to pull her out of the tree and set the trimmers aside. He then gets on his knee and pops the long awaited question!
