Wedding Party

Meet our family and friends who are walking down the aisle with us!

Mark & Susan

Bride's Parents

My parents laid a beautiful foundation of life for me through love and support. My parents always challenged me to be my best while remaining grounded. Through many many lessons (& more to come), I wouldn't be the woman I am today. As my journey with Tyler began, my family instantaneously adopted him, which proved they saw what I was seeing too. We are so so thankful for the tremendous support they've shown as we've walked through dating and engagement. Tyler and I look forward to the many memories we'll share with my parents during our marriage.

Robert & Beth

Groom's Parents

I have been so blessed to have wonderful parents who got me to this point. My Mom and Dad always modeled loving each other well, and I’m beyond excited to carry that into my marriage with Hanna. Mom already loves Hanna like a daughter and has been such a great supporter in our journey. While I wish Dad could be with us, I am thankful to have him watching and supporting from above. We are so thankful to have their love and Mom’s help in planning this wedding and preparing for marriage.

Hailey Dick

Maid of Honor

My prayer warrior/fashionista. Praise God for the Young Life Service Center! Hailey and I first met during my internship and later reconnected when I began my career as a Camp Accountant the following year. She was a young and spunky gal who was confident in every room and never afraid to be different than the norm. Our friendship blossomed quickly, and I found that her love for Jesus was the thing that inspired me the most (right above her eye for fashion). Hailey's love for Jesus is exactly why I need her right next to me on my big day.

Noah Kronk

Best Man

My Best Man. My Best Friend. Noah has been my best friend since day one (age three). We grew up spending most every weekend together doing goofy, crazy, rural Missouri stuff! He moved away when we were ten, but we always stayed in touch and visited each other every time we traveled to see family. When he transferred to MO State Sophomore year, the boys were finally back together! In college, we grew as men of God alongside one another and continued our inseparable friendship. I have always admired Noah’s joy, discipline, and encouragement. His love for Jesus and care for Hanna and I will be exactly what I need by my side on our big day!

Emily Weidhaas

Bridesmaid

My dearest sister. Only as I got older, did I realize how special a sibling is. Our differences are what brought us closer. Emily was the stereotypical "type B" personality while I remained the "type A". Emily was creative and individualistic with her love for K-Pop and crazy colored hair. She inspires me to step outside of the box! I gained a friend when she was born and it's only fitting that she would join me on my big day!

Kyle Martin

Best Man

My dearest brother. As a young kid, Kyle was my biggest answer to prayer. I wanted another younger sibling so badly and couldn’t be more thankful the Lord gifted me with Kyle! Being his big brother is one of the greatest honors of my life. While we couldn’t be more different, he’s not just my brother but a best friend. He’s been here for me on my best days and my worst days, and I’m so thankful to have him with me on my best of the best! Kyle is very humorous, loyal, and caring. I’m so thankful to have him in our party supporting us as a co-best man!

A'na Knoll

Bridesmaid

My comedic relief! A'na has kept me laughing since the day we met on Summer Staff at Washington Family Ranch in 2016. She was the one friend who kept things fun and lighthearted. I visited A'na that following fall and fell in love with all things GA! We have built on our long-distance friendship ever since. From googling over Decatur homes to frequent FT dates, A'na has shown me the blissful side of Jesus. Our wedding day wouldn't be nearly as fun without A'na by my side!!

Colin Byers

Groomsman

"Where's Colin?" Colin and I had the privelege to meet at a high school Summer program in 2014. Little did I know, he would be my random suitemate in the dorm our Freshman year of college! Living together, I quickly found out how spontaneous he was. Colin was my one friend who pursued both Theta Chi Fraternity and Young Life with me whole-heartedly. More importantly, we pursued Jesus together in accountability and encouragement. Colin is the ideal friend and pushes me toward being a better man. I appreciate how spiritually sound Colin is, and how he is always down for adventure! He will be a calming friend and a prayer warrior for us as we enter into and live in marriage.

Emily Sampson

Bridesmaid

My sister from another Mr. Em and I over time have been mistaken as sisters when standing side by side since we met at ASU nearly 6 years ago, and I always say it's a such a compliment! Anyone that encounters Em knows she is beautiful on the inside and out. Her sweet personality draws a room together and gives you that "happy go lucky" feeling in your heart. I'm grateful for the small group that joined us together; without it I wouldn't have one of my best friends! Emily has been a constant encouragement in my life and I can't wait to have her join us on our special day!

Jacob Smith

Groomsman

My most loyal friend. Jacob and I first became friends in 2nd grade when we had class together. Through sports, church, and life, he grew to be my best and most caring friend all the way through high school. Teenagers can be pretty harmful toward each other, but this guy always had my back! As everyone knows, many high school friends come and go, but Jacob is certainly not one of those people. Through many phone calls, my visits home, and his visits to Springfield, we have continued our life-long friendship. I love how caring and intentional Jacob is with our friendship and every other relationship he is a part of. He is entering married life as well this year, and he will walk alongside me in love and support on mine and Hanna's big day and every day after!

Kate Ballan

Bridesmaid

My dreamer/ world-traveler. Kate and I first met on a Mexico house building trip with ASU Young Life freshman year of college. The two of us ended up in a 6 person tent with four feet of distance between our sleeping bags. As I look back on our funny first encounter, I'm thankful God so perfectly orchestrated that trip to bring me one of my best friends. Through two years of living together, co-leading ASUYL, and much more Kate taught me about what's important in life and where adventure really is. She showed me Jesus in ways I'd never seen and for that, I'm a changed women. I've dreamt about this special day where I could have Kate stand alongside me.

Ryan Walker

Groomsman

My Coffee Date I met Ryan in college when he joined the fraternity and came to our first bible study I was leading. I asked him to grab coffee that Friday, and we kept the tradition every week for my last three semesters! Even though I was discipling him, his maturity made it feel like I was getting discipled too. We talked about life and faith and grew our friendship beyond a once a week hangout. He became the most consistent and enjoyable friend I could ask for, and we haven’t slowed our communication since I moved! Ryan has showed so much care for Hanna and I, and she has quickly grown to appreciate him as much as I do. I’m blessed to have this guy by my side on my biggest day!

Ashley Watkins

Bridesmaid

My wild child!! Ashley and I met on Summer Staff at Lost Canyon in 2015. Once we figured out we only lived 5 minutes apart back home, the rest was history. Every holiday break I had from ASU, I'd look forward to the time I could spend with Ashley. Our friendship wasn't a daily walk, but it picked up exactly where it was left off the last time. Throughout our years, I admired how real and honest Ashley was about the trials of life. She modeled what Jesus could transform in a strong women's life. Ashley has loved me well through her undying loyalty and I couldn't go without her on my special day.

Charlie Bondurant

Groomsman

Good-Time Charlie Moving to Colorado Springs was nerve-racking because it was out of my comfort zone and I didn’t know any men my own age. I was beyond blessed to have a friend introduce me to Charlie – a Mid-Mo native who lived in COS! Charlie is the first one to say “yes” to a last minute plan, hyping me up, and loving the Lord. He is always the funniest guy in the room but can discuss the toughest and most pivotal parts of life. He has quickly become my best friend in Colorado, and I know our friendship will last a lifetime! Good-Time Charlie will be my hype-man as I marry the girl of my dreams! My favorite Charlie quote is when he first saw Hanna’s ring: “The only thing prettier than that thing is the hand it’s going on”.
