When we graduated we separated 547 miles apart, but we still talk as if we had seen each other the previous day. Cheers to 13 years, and many, many more.

I met Mona my freshman year of college in Sheridan. We have been in 2 musicals together, lots of Zumba, shared adventures and lots of books. I'm forever grateful for this Pixie of a woman!

I met Annie my second year of college in choir. She later swiped up our best man and decided that he was her one. Thus connecting us for life. Annie has had great part in helping me to discover the world of reading again and has encouraged me to be unapologetically myself.

I met Jasmine the same year I met Mona. She was the stage manager of our college musical. The summer after she and I both worked at Papa Johns pizza and our friendship grew immensely. I then introduced her to her now husband and the three of us became an inseparable trio, spending 6 days a week working closes will do that. Since then Jasmine has made me Auntie Nin to her beautiful baby girl (one of our flower girls).

Cheyenne came in to my life rather unexpectedly. Cheyenne came to live with me through my job. In the 3 years that she has been with me I have got to see her grow and flourish. She is learning to be an independent young woman, and I do not know what my life would be like if fate had not gifted this lady to me. She is a pretty fantastic lady, and I'll love her forever.
