We matched shortly before Valentines day 2020, after a few dates and getting to know each other we became a couple. A few days later Covid shut everything down, our dates turned into Zoom movies and game nights! When this started opening back up we spent a lot of time taking walks in Excelsior or the Elm Creek Park Reserve.

We were spending time up at the Handberg Cabin for Memorial Weekend, Allison was under the impression we were meeting friends at a local park to set up for an event. Her parents and sister were going to meet up with their friends as well, little did she know they were hiding in the park waiting for us. Shortly after arriving at the Northland Arboretum we walked up a path to a white gazebo where Sam got down on one knee and proposed. It was the beginning of a new chapter in our lives together.
