Groom
I can’t remember the exact moment I fell in love with Hannah, but our love story begins with freshman year at USF. In our first encounter, I probably said ‘hey’ and she probably said ‘hey’ back. We didn't share many class together, but I always enjoyed her quiet, unique spirit. One pivotal day in class, Hannah shared the Gospel through a dance solo she'd made. I was amazed at her boldness to freely proclaim the Good News! From then on, I was constantly drawn to her. Our relationship is certainly not perfect, but Hannah shows so often just how supportive, loving, and kind she is. Stepping into marriage, I want us to continue to bask in God’s glory together for the rest of our lives as we serve each other and those around us in the name of Jesus. I love you Hannah, forever and always.
Bride
May 15th, 2016. I was scrolling through facebook when I saw a random pic of one of my classmates from the dance department at USF. He was valiantly wielding Captain America's shield in one hand and vehemently punching the air with the other. He'd captioned it "#thingsyoufindatchurch." That man was Brentwood Townend. In that single moment, I caught a glimpse of what would grow to be my favorite things about Brent: his perpetual joy and his love for Jesus Christ. We blossomed from acquaintances to best friends to soon-to-be husband and wife, and even now I am constantly amazed at how Brent chooses to live in such a way that proclaims his faith in Jesus and brings joy to everyone he interacts with. He is the man I’ve always prayed for, the one whom my soul loves, forever and always.
