How It Started: We met when we (thankfully) both swiped right on Hinge. After JP's cheesy opening about Sasquatch at a tea party, we hit it off right away in the messages. First Date: After a few weeks of texting, JP worked up the courage to ask me on a date to Cisco's Christmas Party at Ruth Chris Steakhouse (bold move, eh?). I figured, "Worst case, I'll get some free food and drinks and call an Uber if it's weird." JP figured, "Worst case, I'll just go talk to some coworkers if it's weird." JP introduced me as "Hannah" for the first few minutes, I corrected his pronunciation, and we had a grand ol' time chatting with his coworkers, eating multiple rounds of food at the buffet, and getting to know one another. Six Years Later: From Raleigh to Denver and back to Winston-Salem, we have happily stuck together (along with our two fur babies) and are so excited to tie the knot in November!
