We met in the summer time and had our first date on July 3 2018. Prior to our first date, we would talk on the phone while Ian would drive home from Mansfield after work. Then two weeks later he decided to make a move and ask her out. Our first date was like a bunch of dates in one day. It started out at Chipotle for lunch that we took to Hinkley. Sadly, it was July and it was hot and the bugs were rampant. We finished lunch and drove to Cool Beans for iced coffee. After sitting in Cool Beans and talking for a while we decided to go to the Exchange to look at old records. Afterward, we both went home and that was the end of the date. NOT! Ian actually came over to Hanahs house later that evening to watch fireworks and meet her family. *Gasp* This guy had guts to meet the girls family on the first date. We watched the fireworks and had smores. We set up another date for the next day where we had originally planned to get dinner but all of the restaurants were not open since it was the Fourth of July. As we were walking back to our cars we noticed people gathering at the gazebo in Medina Square getting ready to watch the band play their Fourth of July concert. We hurried up and drove to Walmart to grab a picnic blanket and some water to enjoy the concert. We stayed until the end and walked around the square. That was the end of many weekends together going on adventures to make new memories. Now it's 2021 and we are living in Medina Square right above House of Hunan. We also have a black cat named Denver who if Hanah did not have she probably would be talking to herself all day while Ian has been deployed. Even while being apart we still strive to grow our relationship together and with God. We have traveled to six states together with more to come and more to come in the future. We can't wait to see what this life has in store for us and cant wait to share this wonderful day with you. Who would have thought that a swipe right would become the start of our love story
