What's the dresscode?

Answer

Semi-Formal Attire. Pending the weather, our ceremony and reception will be outdoors. There will be a short walk to the ceremony so we suggest wearing comfortable shoes.

Are Kids Invited?

Answer

While we love your children, we are planning on having an adults only ceremony and reception. We hope you can enjoy a night out celebrating with us.

Is there a shuttle for hotel guests to and from the reception?

Answer

The shuttles will leave the hotel at 2:10 pm and 2:50 pm. Shuttles will also be available to take guests back to the hotel through out the evening. The last shuttle will leave Oakwood at 11:30 pm. Check the website prior to the event for added shuttle times.

Covid 19

Answer

For now, our wedding is happening as planned. Both the Bride and Groom have large families and are expecting a large number of guests in attendance. While we are offering a primarily outdoor event to encourage social distancing, we cannot guarantee the weather will cooperate as planned. Should it rain, the ceremony and reception will take place inside the tent. There will not be any assigned seating. We want our guests to feel like they can spread out and stand or sit where they feel comfortable. There will be several seating options throughout the venue for you to choose from. Food stations will be served by an attendant wearing a mask and gloves. Guests will be able to walk up to each station and have their food made to order and served by the venue staff. As a couple, we understand and support your decision to attend or decline due to the current Covid 19 situation. We ask that all guests RSVP by 09/01/2020. Continue to visit our website for updates.
