Question

When do I need to arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving on or before Saturday, April 18th at 3pm local time.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We are coordinating all of the events out of the town of Bellagio, known as the Pearl of Lake Como. We will have a room block available in October at Hotel Silvio, more to come!

Question

Can I stay somewhere other than Hotel Silvio/Bellagio?

Answer

Yes - we want this to be a memorable trip for all of our loved ones. You can stay wherever you want, but if you stay outside of Bellagio you will be responsible for your own travel to the wedding venue.

Question

Where should I fly in?

Answer

Milan has the closest airports to Lake Como. However, if you are traveling throughout Europe, you can probably train over from other cities.

Question

What is the wedding dress code?

Answer

The wedding dress code is black tie optional. We are asking guests to wear black for the wedding reception. We feel strongly that we want this trip to feel special to everyone, so wear a fit you will feel fabulous in! The groom will wear a tux, but black suits are welcome!

Question

What is the Family Dinner dress code?

Answer

We encourage you to wear whatever Fab Fit you want to wear in the beautiful back drop of Lake Como. If you have questions, ask! But feel free to wear what would give you your best instagrammable moment.

Question

When do I plan to leave?

Answer

The last formal event is Monday evening so any time Tuesday your schedule is your own! Mike and Hana will stay at Lake Como until Wednesday (04/22) and then travel to Switzerland or Milan for the second part of the week. You are encouraged to plan your own trip however you would most enjoy!

Question

How do I get to the wedding venue?

Answer

We are getting married at Villa del Balbianello. It is a short (~20 minute boat ride) across the lake from Bellagio. We will hire a boat to pick up guests at 5pm so we can get to Balbianello on time. There is a short walk up hill, through the beautiful gardens, to the venue. The wedding ceremony will start promptly at 6:30pm and end at 7pm. We will then have an hour to enjoy the grounds and the photographer will take pictures of the couple and guests.

Question

What is the boat party?

Answer

A double decker bus will pick us up from Villa Balbianello at 8pm. The boat will have indoor and outdoor space, a full buffet with pasta, a DJ, and an open wine & beer bar. We will celebrate on the boat from 8pm-11pm where we will return to Bellagio.
