It started with a coffee date on College Avenue after a perfect algorithmic suggestion on Match.com. On their second date, Jordan took her swing dancing and it was very clear that this woman was not afraid to laugh and move out of her comfort zone. Hana has been responsible for many firsts for Jordan as well! Including an epic 3rd date to his 1st NHL hockey game. Hana was instantly attracted to Jordan's rugged good looks and sweet bomber jacket! Feeling afraid that this hipster was too cool for this suburban soccer mom, she tried her hardest to win his affection by feeding him copious kimchee. Hana won a big Passover coup by making matzoh ball soup so authentic that his Mom was speechless. In Las Vegas they also discovered that they were very good travel partners. Always excited about dancing in a swimming pool, seeing a Cirque du Soleil show and eating corned beef hash at Vicki’s diner. Little did they know as they watched the fountains of Bellagio that a year later he would propose in the same place. Every time they went to Vegas they saw chapels and thought about the future until one day Jordan really started thinking about the future…he realized that before Hana went off to Europe he needed to put a ring on it but more than that he wanted to. So he crept to Cartier and got a ring. That beautiful evening on June 3rd, feeling so nervous that in photographs he looks constipated, he took her out on the balcony of the Picasso restaurant and as The Fountains of Bellagio erupted, he got down on his knees and asked her to marry him. Very fortunately she said YES! It's a story that for us keeps getting better and better as Hana has opened up her home to Jordan and Dash, and Faye- and Kai has opened up his heart to all of us and where there were families of two and three now there is one of five. We are also grateful that we have such wonderful friends and family members who are eager and willing to share this journey with us.
