Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

As soon as you can! We’re so excited to have everyone together in one place. All guests are invited to a poolside dinner Friday night, and there are tons of activities to enjoy throughout the weekend—like the pool, tennis, croquet, a pitch-and-putt golf course, and a private beach (surf lessons included!). We hope you’ll take some time to enjoy everything The Hillsboro Club has to offer!

Question

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is "Coastal Formal"—think long dresses for women and suits for men. Have fun with it! We’d love to see plenty of color and breezy, beachy vibes. Most importantly, be comfortable and ready to celebrate with us by the ocean!

Question

What should I wear to the Welcome Party?

Answer

We’re so excited to kick off the weekend with you at our Friday night welcome dinner! Dress like you’re heading to a nice outdoor dinner—whatever makes you feel good. Our photographer will be there, so wear something you love!

Question

Does The Hillsboro Club Have A Dress Code?

Answer

Yes! To play croquet or tennis, both men and women need to wear all white—no exceptions. Also, The Club has a strict no-denim policy (yep, even white denim), so plan accordingly!

Question

Is The Hillsboro Club All Inclusive?

Answer

Not exactly! The Hillsboro Club is a private, members-only beach club, which means activities and continental breakfast (8–10 AM) are complimentary for guests. Dinner is covered on Friday and Saturday, thanks to our families. For lunch, the dining room is open from 12–2 PM Thursday through Sunday. And for drinks, the tiki bar will be open Friday–Sunday, serving up both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options.

Question

What Religious Customs Are We Including In Our Ceremony? And What Do They Symbolize?

Answer

We’re so excited to have a ceremony that reflects both of our backgrounds and includes a few Jewish traditions that are really special to us. We’ll be saying “I do” under a chuppah, which represents the home and life we’re building together. And yes, there will be the breaking of the glass—a tradition that’s both a nod to Jewish history and a reminder of the beauty and fragility of love. It’s a moment to pause, reflect, and then... let the celebration begin!

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we’ve decided to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. We hope you’ll take this as an opportunity to enjoy a relaxing weekend getaway. Thank you for understanding!
