Alright here's the scene. It's a week of super cool collegiate snowboarding and skiing competitions in the winter wonderland of Lake Placid, New York. Closer to the end of the week Brennan's Snow Team would invite Hana's over for that night's shenanigans. And oh boy shenanigans were had. Some would say that it was an extreme amount of shenaniganry. So many shenanigans in fact that it would go down into the annals of Rose history. Anyway, right before Hana's Snow Team would show up Brennan got dared to find a way to get a phallus suction cupped to his head and introduce himself to the entire team showing up, including Hana. It was love at first sight. Truly. After that night, we would see each other in the same mountains we'll be wed. Then it was weekend trips with Brennan visiting Hana in Santa Barbara. And the rest is history.

Brennan has had the ring since April 2023 and Hana had no clue. The day mirrored our first date in Orange County. It started with a stop at Omar's Birds followed by lunch at Shake Shack overlooking Crystal Cove. That is when the nerves really started because our next stop was the Top of the World in Laguna Beach. With the ring in Brennan's pocket all day, we found a real cool rock overlooking the canyons near Laguna Beach. Like this rock was pretty rad. It had a bunch erosion holes and stuff. It was easy to sit on too. This is when Brennan was absolutely losing it. The entire speech that he rehearsed flew out the window at Mach 7, but eventually with the scene set he was able to spit it out. But in the nerves, he forgot the most important part. He didn't get down on one knee, aaaaannnnnd Hana asked him to do it again. But none of that's important even though Hana will never forget it. The important thing is that she said "YES!" and "WOAH!" and "WHAT!" without a second thought.
