Arches National Park
Arches National Park is one of Moab’s most iconic landscapes, known for its incredible red rock formations and natural stone arches. If you’re planning to visit the park during your stay, please note that Arches now requires a timed entry reservation during certain hours of the day. Reservations are required in advance and help manage crowds, so we recommend planning ahead if this is on your itinerary. You are able to drive through the park or hike by the rocks. Even if you don’t enter the park, there are plenty of beautiful viewpoints and nearby trails to enjoy around Moab.
Canyonlands National Park
Just a short drive from Moab, Canyonlands National Park offers sweeping desert views, dramatic canyons, and some of the most breathtaking landscapes in the Southwest. The park is divided into several districts, with the Island in the Sky being the most easily accessible for visitors and perfect for scenic overlooks and short hikes. Canyonlands is a great option if you have extra time to explore the area and want to experience the natural beauty that makes this region so special. No reservations are required for entry, but we recommend checking park hours and conditions ahead of time.
