Q + A

Question

1.

Answer

When is the RSVP deadline? Please RSVP by May 26, 2024. This will allow us to plan accordingly. We apologize for the timing of our invitations due to our spontaneous timeline; indeed, Allah (swt) is the Best of Planners! We hope you can still make it, and we look forward to hearing back from you, insha'Allah. If you are unable to attend, please RSVP "Will Not Attend" as soon as possible. While we will miss your presence, we understand that sometimes plans change, insha'Allah khair. Thank you for keeping us informed.

Question

2.

Answer

What is the dress code? Please dress in modest formal attire as our reception will be taking place in an Islamic Center. There will be a congregational prayer, and we kindly remind female guests to wear proper hijab when entering the mosque.

Question

3.

Answer

Are children welcome? As much as we'd love to have all of your wonderful little ones join us, due to the formality of the event and space limitations, we regret to inform you that we will only be able to accommodate children of close family members. We kindly ask for no other children in attendance as this is an adult-only reception. However, we sincerely hope you will still be able to join us on our special day. May Allah (swt) bless your beautiful children. P.S: We understand that we are inviting entire families, so if you require exceptions or accommodations, please reach out to the couple directly. We will do our best to accommodate, insha'Allah.

Question

4.

Answer

Is this a mixed or seperate gender event? This event will have separate sections for men and women on the same floor. Women are requested to enter from the back entrance of the building, while men should enter from the front entrance. Maghrib (Aksham) prayer will be held upstairs in the mosque in the respective men’s and women’s prayer areas.

Question

5.

Answer

Is parking provided? The center has a parking lot available. If it becomes full, please avoid blocking anyone’s car. We recommend finding nearby street parking and carpooling to the event for your convenience and ease.

Question

6.

Answer

Can we take pictures? While we encourage capturing the details of the space and reception, we kindly ask guests to respect some of the couple's privacy preferences. The bride, due to her beliefs and religious practices, would like to protect her modesty and requests that her face not be shared online. We hope you can understand and honor this request, insha'Allah.
