FAQs

Question

Can I bring a guest/date?

Answer

Please refer to your invitation for guest details. Due to space limitations, we kindly ask that only those named on the invite attend.

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

We love your little ones, but due to space and seating limitations, kids are only welcome if they are listed on the invitation. We hope you understand and can enjoy a night out with us!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We encourage traditional South Asian attire, but wear what makes you feel comfortable and festive! Mehndi: Bright, colorful outfits (think greens, pinks, oranges, yellows). Shaadi/Reception: Formal or traditional wear. Think rich colors and elegance—this is the big day! Please avoid wearing red as it is reserved for the bride.

Question

Can I take photos/videos?

Answer

Yes, absolutely! Feel free to take as many photos and videos as you like—we want you to capture the memories too! Just one small request: please avoid stepping in front of the photographer or videographer during key moments so they can do their job without interruption. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Can I participate in dances or performances?

Answer

Yes, please! The Mehndi night will feature music, dancing, and performances—and we’d love for you to join in or just enjoy the fun!

Question

What is a Mehndi or Sangeet?

Answer

The Mehndi (or Sangeet) is a fun, vibrant pre-wedding celebration filled with music, dancing, food, and color. Think of it as a party before the formal wedding. It’s often the most energetic night with performances from family and friends, lots of singing, and everyone dancing together!

Question

Will there be prayer accommodations?

Answer

Yes, a designated area will be available for anyone who wishes to pray during the events. Feel free to ask a family member or wedding staff for directions.

Question

Will alcohol be served?

Answer

No, alcohol will not be served at any of the events. We’ve chosen to celebrate this joyous occasion with non-alcoholic beverages for everyone to enjoy.

Question

Are there halal food options?

Answer

Yes, all food served at the wedding will be halal, Pakistani cuisine. If you have any specific dietary restrictions or allergies, please notify us ahead of time, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
