Things To Do

Rockefeller Center

45 Rockefeller Plaza, New York, NY 10111

Rockefeller Center is home to the really cool big famous tree just chilling there! Between the giant Christmas tree, sparkling lights, and ice skating right in the middle of the city, it’s one of the best places to experience NYC during the holidays. You can take pictures, walk around Fifth Avenue, and or just enjoy the festive vibes.

Times Square

New York, NY 10036

Times Square is basically the heart of NYC, bright lights, huge digital billboards, nonstop energy, and people from everywhere all mixed together. It’s one of those places that always feels alive, whether it’s day or night. While you’re there, just wander around, take in the chaos (in the best way), snap some photos, and enjoy the street performers… and look out for Elmo!

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

1000 5th Avenue, New York, NY 10028

Don’t go in with a strict plan, it’s basically impossible to see everything in one day. Just get lost in there and enjoy! The Met is huge, with everything from ancient artifacts to world famous paintings, so there’s always something unexpected around every corner. If you’re short on time and want to see a few highlights, we recommend checking out the Egyptian Art collection (including the Temple of Dendur), the European paintings (Monet & Van Gogh), and, if the weather is nice, the rooftop garden when it’s open for amazing views of Central Park.

Bryant Park Winter Village

6th Avenue, New York, NY 10018

This is one of the best places to experience the holiday magic of NYC, from ice skating with the city skyline around you, to festive holiday shops, delicious seasonal treats, cozy winter lounges where you can sip hot cocoa, and beautiful views all around. Whether you want to shop, skate, or just enjoy the atmosphere with family and friends, Bryant Park Winter Village should definitely be a must during your trip!

One Vanderbilt

1 Vanderbilt Avenue, New York, NY 10017

One Vanderbilt (SUMMIT One Vanderbilt) is one of the best places in NYC to get absolutely unreal skyline views, also it’s way more than just an observation deck. As you go up, you’ll walk through immersive art installations, mirrored rooms, and glass floors that make the whole experience feel like part museum, part dream. Once you reach the top, you get panoramic views of Midtown, the Empire State Building, and the entire city stretching out in every direction, it’s especially magical at sunset or after dark when everything is lit up. Tips: try to book tickets in advance (sunset slots sell out fast), wear pants or shorts (mirrored floors mean skirts can feel a bit tricky), and give yourself enough time, you’ll want to linger, not rush through it.

Brooklyn Bridge

New York, NY 10038

Brooklyn Bridge is one of those must do NYC walks, especially at sunset or at night when the skyline lights up. It connects Manhattan and Brooklyn with amazing views the whole way across, so take your time, stop for photos, and just enjoy the moment. And yes… relive your own SRK Kal Ho Naa Ho moment while you’re at it!
