We both attended the University of Arkansas Fayetteville and always ran in the same circles, but somehow never actually met until our senior year of college. (I always joke that it was probably for the best that way!) We met at none other than JJ's on Dickson Street, where we were both enjoying a few JJ's Lights with our own groups. When one of his friends stopped by our table to say hello, Nick tagged along and ended up taking the open seat next to me. The rest is history! From that moment on, we kept crossing paths. After months (and months) of this, we finally made things official on June 4, 2021, at a Razorback baseball game, thanks to a little encouragement from Nick’s groomsman, Clay Fidler. Shoutout to Clay—who knows if Nick would’ve ever worked up the courage otherwise! Since then, we’ve built a life together in Fayetteville with our Golden Retriever, Rusty. In April 2025, we traveled to New Orleans for French Quarter Fest and decided it would be the perfect place to celebrate our wedding one day. What I didn’t know was that Nick already had a ring and was planning to propose just a few weeks later! After he popped the question on May 16, 2025, we celebrated with family and friends back where it all began—JJ’s! Now, we can’t wait to return to New Orleans and celebrate this next chapter with all of you!
