Hampton and Katie met in early 2018 through mutual friends and for the first time ever, Hampton was incredibly patient... and it paid off! After an ignored first date invitation, attending countless CycleBar classes to get her attention, and persistency, Hampton finally received a "yes," to his second, first date invite. Their first official date was on August 1, 2018 at St. Cecilia in Atlanta, and Katie knew she had just made the best decision of her life. Luckily for Hampton, the second big question came much easier and was an immediate "yes!" Six years in, Katie and Hampton live together in Atlanta with their two miniature dachshunds, Thunder and Pepper, and are so excited to officially become husband and wife next September!

In August of 2022, Hampton took Katie to the beautiful Ojai Valley Inn in Ojai, CA as a birthday gift and it immediately became an annual trip! They like to call it a "slice of heaven," so what better place for Hampton to drop down on one knee? On August 16th 2024, with a little help from their beloved Thunder and Pepper, Hampton pulled off the impossible and surprised Katie with the most beautiful proposal in their favorite place. Oh, and she said "YES!!"
