FAQs

Question

What should I know about visiting Colorado?

Answer

Drink LOTS of water and bring a warm layer (in case of weather surprises)! We are at a higher elevation than most of our guests' home states. This can lead to dehydration and fatigue. You may notice that you feel the effects of alcohol and exercise more quickly. It can take a few days to acclimate to the altitude, so be sure to hydrate more than you think you need to!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal. Thematically, you could think bright, floral, and greenery themes. Please do not wear white or very light colors.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Please let us know about food needs at the time of your RSVP so that we can give that information to the kitchen at the venue. Food will be served buffet-style, and there will be at least one GF option during cocktail hour, dinner, and dessert.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is plenty of parking at the venue! The ceremony and reception will both take place at the Ken Caryl Vista by Wedgewood.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

No, we are only expecting guests listed on the invitation.

Question

Can I take/post photos?

Answer

Please do NOT take photos during the ceremony. We are having an “unplugged” ceremony to share in these important moments with everyone fully present. Our professional photographer will capture all of the important things! During the reception, feel free to take as many photos as you like! We would love to see photos of the celebration from our guests’ perspective, if you would like to share them with us. Please refrain from posting photos of our event online until we have had the opportunity to share ours from the photographers. Thank you!
