There is no parking available at the venue. Parking will be made available at an off-site-location, which is approximately a 5 minute shuttle ride to/from the venue. Shuttle transportation will be provided both from the off-site parking location to the venue & from the venue to the off-site parking location. Off-site parking location: St. Lukes Episcopal Church 1001 Brighton Dam Rd, Brookeville, MD 20833 Shuttle service from the off-site parking location (the church) to the venue will begin at 4 PM and run through 11:50 PM.
If you plan to use an Uber, taxi, or comparable ride-share service, please have your ride drop you off/pick you up at location listed below. Keep in mind you will need to plan ahead to coordinate with 1. Your ride and 2. Our shuttle pick-up and drop-off times. St. Lukes Episcopal Church 1001 Brighton Dam Rd, Brookeville, MD 20833 Beginning at 4 PM est, we will have scheduled transportation available to pick you up from the parking lot of St. Lukes Episcopal Church and take you to the venue for the ceremony and reception. There will also be scheduled transportation available to take you from the venue for the ceremony and reception to St. Lukes Episcopal Church parking lot at the end of the evening. The final shuttle will depart from the venue at 11:50 PM.
The shuttle will run beginning at 4 PM EST and stop running at 11:50 PM EST.
This will be a rain or shine event and it might get muddy in the case it does rain, so keep your eye on the weather. If it is raining on the day of, then we ask you to dress accordingly and get excited about dancing in the rain! The ceremony will be outside, unless it rains, in which case the ceremony and reception will both be hosted underneath the tent. Keep in mind: There will be no artificial floor beneath you and the earth under the reception tent. Our bathroom facilities will be located approximately 40 yards from the reception tent, so you will need to walk through the elements whenever nature calls.
The attire is semi-formal. Ladies: DO NOT wear heels. The ceremony and reception will be on grass. Wedges, flats, or cute sandals are suitable options. As the bride, I will be barefoot, and welcome you - at your own discretion - to do the same. There is a gravel drive-way, which you will need shoes for. Please feel free to be barefoot with me! Gentlemen: you are welcome to wear a suit jacket, but suit jackets are not required!
Child(ren) with an invitation may attend and you may bring a plus one if it is specified on your invitation. If your invitation is addressed to "The Family of..." then your immediate family in your household is invited.
