We're Getting Married!!

One outstanding young man and a wild eyed young lady met twenty years ago in Hernando, MS Kroger parking lot. Kristen was 17 and a senior in high school. Jon was 19 and already graduated from Grenada High School. He moved to Hernando to live with his uncle, little did he know, that move would set the course for the rest of his life. It was true love back then and continues to be to this day. Jon was young, dumb and arrogant. He ghosted Kristen before ghosting was a thing. Fast forward four years. Kristen is now 21 and living in Arlington, TX and Jon is 23 and stationed in Alamogordo, NM. He had a layover in DFW airport and reached out to Kristen and all of the old feelings came rushing back. They attempted to date for a second time but the distance wasn't working for them. Kristen was trying to get into nursing school and Jon wasn't leaving New Mexico anytime soon. So they split up and went on with life. They kept in touch periodically throughout the years for reasons neither of them were able to explain at the time. Fast forward 16 more years and the reason presented itself. Kristen is now a nurse and Jon's job moved him to Arlington, TX. Jon reached out to Kristen on facebook for her birthday that year and wished her a happy birthday. Kristen demanded to be taken out to dinner for her birthday and after that they started dating and haven't stopped since. Almost a year later on August 10, 2024 Jon FINALLY proposed to Kristen! She said "yes" of course and now they are inviting all of their closest friends and family to witness them when they say their vows to each other and celebrate this special day with them.
