Most of our mutual friends knew we’d fall in love before we ever did. Brooke and I hadn’t met each other at that point, even though we worked in the same building. I was a night owl, and she was an early bird. Our schedules never aligned so we just carried on, not knowing that the person we were hoping to find was working the opposite shifts. Of course, when we finally were set to work at the same time, there was a scheduling mishap and I never showed! This solidified in Brooke’s mind that I was not dating material, so I had my work cut out for me. “You have to meet, Brad!” I’d been hearing this for weeks at my new job. “He’s SO funny. You two will hit it off.” Finally, after a long time of opposite schedules, we were set to work the same shift. He didn’t show up! We tried calling, nothing. I was young, I had the whole world ahead of me, I had better things to worry about than meeting the infamous Brad. Until I finally did.... Funnily enough when we did actually meet, we hit it off right away. He really was SO funny. I’d never laughed so much in my life. But also, he was kind. And although we spent a couple years growing and traveling separately - We never thought about not being together. Six years later, here we are! Six years of love. We love to cook together - finding new and exciting recipes, or a fun dish to prepare with friends. We love to camp - hiking the outdoors and exploring nature. We love hosting family and friends - playing games and laughing - we love to laugh. We can’t wait to share a few of those laughs with you all! Six years of learning, growing, and loving. We couldn’t be happier.
