Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP through the RSVP tab on this website by October 25th, so we have enough time to gather all the booze! :-) We are inviting families, including children. If you are having trouble with the RSVP process online or you feel like there is a mistake in your family's guest list, please contact Eric or Jaime.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

Yes! Yes! and Yes! Kids always add a lovely flavor to weddings. All invited guests are addressed by name on the website when you RSVP.

Question

Can I bring a guest/date?

Answer

We believe we have allocated "and Guest" for all invitees that we anticipated may bring one. All such invited guests are addressed accordingly on the website RSVP form. If there is a mistake, please contact Jaime/Eric. Otherwise, for planning purposes, we would appreciate if only those who are allocated on the website RSVP form attend.

Question

What is the wedding ceremony attire?

Answer

We don't care what you wear as long as you wear something! If you would like to conform to standard wedding convention, we suggest semi-formal attire. Ladies, that means a cocktail dress, LBD, dressy jumpsuit or that nice floor-length dress you never get to wear (bonus points if its a former bridesmaid's dress!). Men: dress pants or slacks, button-down shirt, jacket or dinner jacket, tie optional...or just ask a woman in your life to choose!

Question

Will we get to see the photographer's pictures?

Answer

Yes! We have signed up for a photo sharing service called guestpix. No download required. You can upload your pictures of all the events and download other guest's photos and videos. A few weeks after the wedding we will upload the photos from our photographer. If she snapped a pic of you, you'll get it! We will have QR codes at all the events as well. In the meantime, here is the link and PIN# to check it out: https://my.guestpix.com/Guest/Login/618 PIN: 2965

Question

What's the food and drink situation? Will the reception dinner accommodate my food allergy?

Answer

If you have a true food allergy please alert the bride or groom ASAP so we can coordinate with the caterer. If you are sensitive to certain foods, dinner will be served buffet-style so that you can choose the foods you like. We will have: (1) a few passed hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour with an open bar, (2) a fajita buffet (chicken, beef, and peppers+onions) from Lupe Tortilla and (3) a mini-dessert bar with a variety of choices, including GF options. Non-alcoholic drinks will be available throughout the evening.

Question

What kind of drinks will be served?

Answer

We will have an open bar with beer, wine, champagne, a variety of liquor as well as specialty drinks. We will have non-alcoholic drinks as well. No tipping required. -Please- drink responsibly and plan your transportation accordingly!

Question

Will the reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held indoors. Cocktail hour will be held outside on the patio. We will have heaters if the weather is chilly. December weather generally ranges from mild to cold in central Texas, so it's best to plan for layers that can be added for the outdoor fun and removed for the indoor festivities.

Question

Can we take photos during the...?

Answer

A photographer will be taking pictures throughout the evening. During the ceremony, we ask that guests generally refrain from picture-taking to avoid flashes and phones-in-the-air colliding with the formal photography. During cocktail hour & the reception, take all the pictures and videos you want! We'd love to see your experiences from our event! We have signed up for a photo sharing service, GuestPix.com. You can upload your pictures of all the events and download other guest's photos and videos. A few weeks after the wedding we will upload the photos from our photographer. If she snapped a pic of you, you'll get it! We will have QR codes at all the events. In the meantime, here is the link and PIN# to check it out: https://my.guestpix.com/Guest/Login/618 PIN: 2965

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

We have gathered hotel options on the Travel tab of our website.

Question

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible, such as RSVP "no" via the website, so we can plan accordingly.

Question

What will the wedding-day timeline look like?

Answer

We are working on the exact details for the events. Please check the Schedule tab after you receive your formal invitation for timeline details.

Question

When will the reception end?

Answer

The venue will kick the last person out by 11:15. For those of you who need to leave earlier, we will do a faux exit with sparklers earlier and then find our way back to the dance floor.

Question

How do I get to the venue? Is there parking? Will transportation be provided?

Answer

The venue is Canyonwood Ridge located at 250 S Canyonwood Dr. Dripping Springs, TX 78620 You can find out more details here: https://www.canyonwoodridge.com/ It is located off 290 about half way between downtown Dripping Springs and Oak Hill in southwest Austin. Coming from the airport, the venue is approximately 30minutes due west, on highways 71 and then 290. The venue itself offers plenty of free parking for cars/trucks; otherwise no specific transportation will be provided. Please think ahead and be responsible when planning to drink, e.g. prepared another transportation option should you suspect you will need one.

Question

What health and safety measures will you be taking during the event?

Answer

This is a Texas wedding, so masks are not required. Food will be served at the buffet by the catering staff to avoid cross-handling of the utensils. Otherwise there are no requirements, and also no judgement if you take extra precautions for yourself. :0)

Question

I already have a gift, where do I ship it? Are you registered? Can I just bring the gift to the wedding?

Answer

Your presence is present enough. But since you did, please ship it to Jaime Hammond, 125 Crest View Drive, Lakeway, TX 78734. We are registered at several stores. You can find this information under the registry tab on this website. Should you wish to bring a gift, there will be a gift area and a locked box for cards.

Question

What was that link to the picture site again?

Answer
