Turkish Airlines
There are regular direct flights on Turkish Airlines from Washington DC (IAD), New York (JFK and EWR), Boston (BOS), and Los Angeles (LAX) to Istanbul (IST). We recommend / plan to depart the evening of Friday, June 23 from Washington DC and land in Istanbul the afternoon of Saturday, June 24. Turkish Airlines provides great stop-over rates through Istanbul to many destinations in Europe. If you plan to travel elsewhere before/after joining us in Turkey, we recommend checking out those options!

We will be arranging a hotel room block at the Hotel Marmara in Taksim - stay tuned for details. Taksim is a central location with lots of hotel options -- if you want to stay at another hotel, you're more than welcome to. Just let us know where you'll be and plan to meet at Hotel Marmara for transportation to our planned events!
