Maid of Honor
Becca is Kristin’s younger sister. Dog aunt to Emmy and Elzie, chicken aunt to Marigold, Moira, Tina, and Stripey. Sisters are the best kind of best friends. You are the ultimate dance partner, whether it’s 2 stepping or ‘follow me’ imitative dance… or just walking into the room doing something weird and accepting it entirely. I love you, I am so excited for you to stand by my side on my wedding day, and ‘I sleep like this’.
Matron of Honor
Courtney is Kristin’s older sister. Dog aunt to Emmy and Elzie, chicken aunt to Marigold, Moira, Tina, and Stripey. Courtney recently married Marc, where Kristin stood up as her maid of honor. Sisters make the best kind of best friends, and our weird worm hole interests and humor makes us perfect for each other. You are the person I will never explore cave systems or touch a buoy with… but I am so lucky to have you stand up by my side on my wedding day! Love you!
Bridesmaid
Cara is Tom’s younger sister and future sister in law to Kristin, though she’s already felt like a sister for years. Dog aunt to Emmy and Elzie, chicken aunt to Marigold, Moira, Tina, and Stripey. Former roomie and fellow lover of the Elburn dinosaurs, Kevin and Craig. Can’t wait to have you standing by my side on our big day!
Bridesmaid
Mallory is Tom’s older sister and Kristin’s future sister in law. Dog aunt to Emmy and Elzie, chicken aunt to Marigold, Moira, Tina, and Stripey. When we need advice or a second opinion, ‘let’s call Mal’ is a staple phrase in our home. You are a rock in our life and my dog guru (and that’s coming from the person who gets called the dog guru in my circle!). Thank you for always being there. :) I am so happy and excited that you will be standing up by our sides on our big day!!
Bridesmaid
Margaux is Kristin’s best friend and former roomie. Kristin is also an auntie to Margaux’s daughter. They met working at the Oak Brook library together. Without Margaux, Tom and Kristin would have never met! A last minute decision to go out together in a storm for a friends birthday led to chatting to some guys in the bar, some blue moons, and a 4 am diner breakfast with the bar guys… and here we are! You are the best friend, you just get me. You get me. I can’t even describe it because it’s not describable. If I move in a weird way, you move awkwardly in the same way. And all is at peace. Because that’s us. Thank you for your forever friendship and standing by my side on the best day of my life. Love you!!!
Bridesmaid
Kristin met Kara during college at ILSTU and it was an immediate click (aka I hunted you down at the pub on… whatever that day was and we decided yes. Yes. We are friends). Friends for almost 9, going on 10 years now.. Our talks on the oaks picnic table, you coming dress shopping with me for my 21st birthday, to ice cream on Cozzi’s love sac, I vaguely remember ‘string bean syndrome’ lol…. To serious talks turning even more serious with weddings, new houses, and getting to be an auntie to baby Madelyn. All of the sushi dates, froyo, charcuterie and flies. I’ll take it all! Our friendship has spanned a decade & was there when I needed it more than ever. I couldn’t thank you enough for sticking with me. Love you so much and I am so happy and excited to have you next to me on my big day!
