Our celebration will be black-tie optional. Gentlemen are invited to wear a tuxedo or a dark suit in black, navy, or charcoal, paired with a tie. Floor-length evening gowns are encouraged for women, though elegant mid-length dresses are also appropriate. We kindly ask that guests refrain from wearing light blue, white, cream, or ivory. When in doubt, we encourage guests to err on the side of dressing up for the occasion. While our ceremony will take place in a church, there is no expectation that guests cover their shoulders. Dress to impress, and get ready to dance the night away!
To RSVP, please visit the "RSVP" tab. From there, you'll be able to confirm your attendance and select your meal choice. Kindly submit your response before July 14th. We can't wait to celebrate with you!
While we would love to celebrate with everyone, due to limited capacity, we ask that only guests whose names are listed on the invitation attend. We appreciate your understanding.
The ceremony will begin promptly at 2:00 p.m., so please plan to arrive between 1:30 and 1:45 p.m. to allow time to park, find your seat, and settle in before we say “I do.”
Yes, there is plenty of street parking available on Lourdes Place and Bank Street SE. Please note that street parking is metered. The RiverPlace Parking Garage, located at the corner of Bank Street SE and 2nd Street SE, is also available for a fee.
Yes! There are several parking options available around the Solar Arts Building. Free parking is available in the north lot, accessible from Monroe Street NE. Simply follow the Mintahoe Event Parking signs. Street parking is also available nearby, and there is a paid parking lot at the corner of Quincy Street NE and 14th Avenue NE. Please note that Indeed Brewing, located on the first floor of the Solar Arts Building, will be hosting an art fair until 7:00 PM on Saturday, so parking in the area may be more limited than usual when you arrive. Because of this, we highly encourage guests to use Uber or Lyft if possible. Both are readily available throughout Minneapolis and will save you the trouble of finding a parking spot. If you do plan to drive, we recommend allowing a little extra time to park before heading upstairs to celebrate with us!
The reception venue is just a 7-minute drive or a scenic 1.5-mile walk from the ceremony, with plenty to explore along the way. Grab an espresso martini at the Whitey's Old Town Saloon, an iced coffee from Five Watt, or take a stroll through Saint Anthony Main and across the Stone Arch Bridge for some of the most iconic views of downtown Minneapolis and Saint Anthony Falls. If you’re in the mood to linger along the river, Silver Fern is a great stop for a coffee or a glass of wine just off St. Anthony Main, and nearby patios make it easy to relax and take in the views before heading over. As you make your way into Northeast, you can also swing by Bauhaus Brew Labs for a classic Minneapolis brewery patio stop, or grab something to go at Kramarczuk’s Sausage Company, a beloved local deli known for its Eastern European specialties. If you'd rather head straight to the reception venue, feel free to stop by Indeed Brewing on the first floor of the Solar Arts Building (we recommend the Flavorwave IPA!). The third floor will open for cocktail hour at 4:30 p.m. There will be plenty of signage to help point you in the right direction. Enjoy a little slice of Minneapolis before the party gets started!
Yes, we’ll have a full open bar for you to enjoy throughout the celebration. Cheers!
