Can we bring alcohol to the wedding?

Answer

No, please do not bring alcohol onto the Tate House property. They strictly enforce this rule, and if they find any containers of alcohol that were not provided by the venue, they will charge a substantial fee to the couple.

What should I wear?

Answer

We kindly request that our guests wear semi-formal attire. Men, please wear a suit with an optional tie and/or jacket. Ladies, please wear a midi or maxi dress. We kindly request that you refrain from wearing white, but any other color is perfectly fine. While all events scheduled for our special day will take place indoors, there will be brief periods outside while walking between buildings. Please consider this when choosing your attire and outerwear.

How early can I arrive?

Answer

The Tate House requests that guests arrive no earlier than 30 minutes before the ceremony's start time. This means 4:00 is the earliest we can have guests arrive. However, we suggest arriving early to find your seats and enjoy a welcome drink.

Where do I park?

Answer

The Tate House offers guest parking that can be accessed from Georgia Marble Road, which turns off Highway 53. Guests cannot park at the office, but if you accidentally enter the office parking lot, a road will lead you to the designated guest parking area.

What time will the wedding end?

We will be having our send-off at 9:00.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We kindly request that you bring only the date listed alongside your name on the invitation. We cannot allow for any additional plus ones.

Can I bring my children?

Answer

Due to strict policies set by the Tate House, we cannot allow any children under 13 on the property. Let our wedding be your Valentine's Day date night with just the two of you!

What if I have dietary restrictions or allergies?

Please indicate any allergies or dietary restrictions on your RSVP, or contact Olivia or Ethan directly. The Tate House chef will ensure everyone can enjoy dinner at our reception.

What is the deadline to RSVP?

Answer

The last day to RSVP will be January 14, 2026, which is 30 days before the wedding. On that day, we will assume that any guests who have not submitted an RSVP are not attending. 30 days before the event, the guest count is solidified and unfortunately, we will not be able to make any changes.

Can we uber?

Answer

Unfortunately, there is no reliable community of Uber/Lyft drivers in the area. To ensure you have a way to get home, you will need to drive or ride with another guest.

Can we tour the Tate House mansion?

Answer

Yes! During cocktail hour, you will have the opportunity to walk through the mansion. We highly encourage that you do!
