Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have provided some recommendations for small hotels and B&Bs near the wedding venue on the Travel and Lodging tab. There are also a lot of private rentals that you can reserve through AirBnB or other similar sites. August is high season in Leelanau County so we do recommend booking lodging as far out as possible!

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please let us know whether or not you will be able to join by April 1st, 2025.

Is there a dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, suits, jackets and slacks.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We are lucky to have so many wonderful kids in our lives! While we wish they could all join us for the wedding, due to space constraints we are only able to accommodate kids of family and those under 1 or still nursing.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Guests are welcome to arrive at the wedding venue anytime after 3pm. The ceremony will start at 3:30pm.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! When you RSVP please let us know about any food allergies or preferences and we will take care of it.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes. The venue can accommodate 70 guest cars. If you are able, please carpool with friends and family, just to make sure we have space for everyone.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We will be having a welcome gathering Friday night from 6-9pm at Peterson Park and a send off brunch on Sunday from 10am-12pm at the Sweet Beach House! See the schedule page for more info.
