Ceremony

Receiving Line & Photos and "Send Off"

3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Immediately following the ceremony, the bride and groom would like to take photos with ALL guests! Please make your way to the courtyard for champagne and photos. There are also non-alcoholic options. (In the event of rain): Please remain in the sanctuary and wait for your group to be called for photos. Have a glass of champagne while you wait! There are also non-alcoholic options. Before we all leave for the reception, there will be a “send off” where the bride and groom exit the church and guests throw rose petals in celebration. At 3:45PM, please grab a paper cup of rose petals and make your way to the church entrance. After the send off, guests may leave for the cocktail hour at GM 705 (705 Oak Grove Rd, Homewood, AL 35209). The cocktail hour officially starts at 4:30PM. The couple will arrive shortly, and dinner will start at 5:30PM sharp!

Cocktails

Enjoy drinks and light appetizers at the reception venue while the bride & groom are taking photos together! Beer and wine are on us! There will be a cash bar for other beverages (contrary to the name, you can definitely pay with a credit/debit card) Please note there is limited parking at the reception venue. Ride shares (uber, lyft, etc.) are encouraged! If you choose to drive yourself/your party, please reserve parking closest to the venue for guests ages 65+ and/or with accessibility needs.

Seated Dinner & Dancing

5:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Formal

Our reception will be a seated Italian dinner at one of Birmingham's finest restaurants: Gian Marcos! (Specifically the reception venue, GM705). Dinner is on us, of course! You will order as you would at a restaurant; no need to pre-order your meal. Beer and wine are on us! There will be a cash bar for other beverages (contrary to the name, you can definitely pay with a credit/debit card) Please note there is limited parking at the reception venue.
