A New Year, A New Beginning

After a sunny day of exploring new breweries across the river, Brittany thought they were headed back to her apartment to figure out dinner plans. Ryan suggested grabbing a drink at the Take Off cocktail bar on top of the Peregrine Hotel in downtown Omaha. Knowing the bar was not yet open for the season, Brittany was pleasantly surprised when the door was unlocked and they had the rooftop to themselves. After Ryan proposed and a bottle of champagne was popped, he informed Brittany that their parents and siblings were waiting downstairs! They all celebrated with dinner, more champagne, and a fun night out together.

After graduating from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, Brittany moved to Omaha, where Ryan had graduated from Creighton University. Brittany was living with her bff, Bailey, whose now husband had grown up with Ryan's roommates. Brittany joined the friend group and frequently found herself chatting with Ryan at gatherings. In September 2016, She convinced him to drive down to Kansas City and back on a Wednesday night to go to a concert and they never looked back. They continued to attend events and go out to eat on unofficial dates for months. Their love for each other grew exponentially throughout the years and the best is yet to come!
