Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to the size of the venue, space is unfortunately very limited so we ask that only those named on the invitations join us for our celebration. Thank you for your understanding!

Is the event child friendly?

Answer

While we love all of your kiddos, space is very limited within the venue so we ask that you only bring children if they were specifically named on the invitation. Thank you for your understanding!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is cocktail attire. Please be sure to bring a coat due to the variable weather conditions in the mountains. The ceremony site is unpaved. Flat shoes or a change of shoes is strongly recommended.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! Drinks are on us but the next day’s hangover is on you. Please remember that one drink at elevation is equal to two drinks at sea level. Stay hydrated!

Will there be vegetarian options?

Answer

We will be serving BBQ buffet style. Vegetarian options will include salad, cornbread, mashed potatoes, and macaroni and cheese.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

While fall tends to be milder weather, Colorado is notorious for its unpredictability. Please be sure to bring layers!

Is transportation from the hotel to the venue provided?

Answer

Yes! We will have round trip travel from the hotel to the ceremony site, from the ceremony site to the reception venue, and back to the hotel at the end of the night.

Where should I stay?

Answer

While the venue is in Frisco, all of Summit County is easily accessible. This includes Dillon, Breckenridge, and Silverthorne. There are no shortage of options for lodging nearby! We have a hotel block with a limited number of discounted rates (please see the travel tab for more information and a link to book).

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 5:00 PM. We recommend being seated by 4:45 at the latest. The ceremony site is about a half a mile away from the reception site address that is listed on the invitations. The site is located along an unpaved trail. If you have trouble locating the ceremony site, please contact the Day Lodge at 970-668-2558.

What time will the reception end?

Answer

Due to the limitations imposed by the venue, all guests are asked to leave the venue by 10:45. We will need to remove all decorations and clean up around 10:30. We plan to have an after party at a local bar near Frisco’s Main Street. More details to come.

What time will dinner be served?

Answer

Dinner will be served buffet style around 7:00 PM.

Can I take photos?

Answer

We love candid photos! Please feel free to take as many photos as you’d like during the reception. However, we kindly request all guests be fully present in the moment during our unplugged ceremony.
