Vacasa is a vacation rental company that manages numerous properties in Steamboat. Vacasa is a great option for guests looking for multi-room condos. Guests who book with Vacasa will need to arrange transportation to The Steamboat Grand for our wedding day shuttle service. We would recommend finding a rental in the resort area as opposed to downtown.

One Steamboat Place

One Steamboat Place is a great high-end hotel located at the base area of Steamboat Mountain. The resort features fantastic views, great amenities and close proximity to the resort for activities such as hiking & mountain biking. We will be having a shuttle service pick guests up at The Steamboat Grand to take them to the wedding venue and shuttle them back at the end of the night. One Steamboat Place is a short walk away from the shuttle pickup/dropoff location. Please contact the hotel directly to make bookings. There is no wedding discount available for this hotel.

Steamboat offers plenty other accommodation options including Airbnb, VRBO, and Home Away rentals if our recommended hotels don't work for you. For the best convenience with the wedding activities and shuttle to wedding, we recommend staying close to the resort.

Travel Note

Transportation in Steamboat

It is not necessary to have a car in Steamboat. Most of the hotels offer free shuttle service around town. Steamboat Springs also has a free bus system that offers transportation between downtown, hotels, and condos. Lyft and Uber are available but limited in Steamboat.

Flight

Denver International Airport

For guests traveling from out of state Denver International Airport (DIA) is the most affordable and cost effective option. DIA is approximately a 3 hour drive to Steamboat. Flight

Hayden Airport

Hayden Airport (HDN) is the closest airport for guests looking to fly directly into Steamboat. Flights are typically more limited and costly than DIA, however Southwest Airlines has recently started offering flights into HDN. Hayden Airport is approximately a 30 minute drive to Steamboat.
