We’re getting married!

It’s funny how life works sometimes. Despite attending middle school and high school together, Sara and Donald never crossed paths until years later. In fact, Sara met Donald’s parents before she ever met him! After meeting Sara, Donald’s mom, Mary, immediately told him, “You need to find a girl like Sara.” Although they shared mutual friends, it wasn’t until months later that fate decided to bring them together. Both ended up on the same camping and fishing trip to the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel, and as fate would have it, Sara was chosen to fish on Donald’s boat that week. What started as a simple friendship soon grew into something much deeper—united by their shared love of adventure, fishing, and hunting. Over the years, they’ve shared countless adventures—whether it was hiking through the mountains, taking spontaneous trips, or enjoying their love for the outdoors. But the biggest adventure of all was yet to come: getting engaged and, most recently, welcoming their beautiful daughter, Harper, into the world in 2025. As they embark on this new chapter of marriage together, Sara and Donald are excited for all the adventures life still has in store. One thing’s for sure: with each other by their side, it’s going to be one unforgettable journey.
