Closest Airports to Winston-Salem

The GSO airport is the closest airport to Winston-Salem, but since it is a smaller airport, flight options could be limited. The CLT and RDU airports are larger airports that will have plenty of flight options and these airports are about an hour and a half away from Winston-Salem.

Winston-Salem is very spread out. Unless you are driving your own vehicle here, we'd recommend renting a car while in town to enjoy the many activities in Winston-Salem and beyond!
